    Service was slow, food was cool when it arrived after sitting on counter for over 5 minutes. Meatloaf was awful. Had stopped while traveling. Waitress was friendly but no offer to refill coffee or water. Food sat on counter while waitress chatted with new arrivals for 10 minutes even though she knew order was up. Counter wait staff stood next to food while it cooled and did not move to bring it over. I almost got up and got it myself. Even if the food had been hot it still would have been awful. Never again.

    We were getting hungry while traveling and exited the freeway to try this place out. Was a couple of miles from the freeway. Just a small local small town restaurant. Very friendly people. I had a tuna salad sandwich and tater tots and my wife had grilled cheese sandwich with onion rings. They were okay, but nothing to shout about. My wife ordered a piece of home made lemon pie and it was very good. She is still talking about it. They also have fried pies, but we didn't get to try them. Not many restaurants serve them these days.

    Great pies. The place to stop off the blue ridge for a coffee break. Local country fair. Very friendly.

    Nothing fancy, but full of locals and flavorful food! The staff are sweet and you'll want to come back for more! Also, the prices are phenomenal!

    My husband and I ate breakfast here before jumping on the parkway! It’s amazing!! Everything was perfect. Staff super friendly. My husband said they had the best biscuit he’s ever had. GREAT HOME COOKING!
